Make sure you do not move the unit during the calibration or position the unit over a stud (try a spot 6-12' away from the corner of the wall - most studs are on 16' or 24' centers and the wood/metal stud is 1 1/2' thick).
2) Calibrate the unit by holding it flat against the wall for 5 seconds until the red light goes off and the beep stops. 1) Turn on the unit (if the green light is blinking replace the battery).
